The 18" S2W mid-length barrel: the AR-15 precision reference

The 18" length is ideal for the balance of precision, handling, and velocity in 5.56 NATO:

The Daniel Defense MFR 15.0 is a 15" long handguard covering the barrel almost entirely to the gas block. M-LOK on 3 sides, continuous 1913 Picatinny rail on top, free-float design, proprietary Daniel Defense 4- or 6-bolt attachment, CNC 6061-T6 aluminum, Type III anodized — here in Kryptek Highlander finish. Large space for bipod, laser range finder, light, QD sling, varied grip positions.

Ambidextrous GRIP-N-RIP charging handle

The Hunter is equipped with the Daniel Defense GRIP-N-RIP, the brand's premium ambidextrous charging handle: extended ambi (right or left-handed without modification), reinforced latch, CNC 7075-T6 aluminum body, CNC 6061-T6 handles and latch, heavy stainless steel roll pins, Type III hard-coat anodized.
