Overview
The Aimpoint Micro T-2 is an extremely rugged, lightweight, and compact red dot sight built for demanding users and harsh environments. Item number 200198 is supplied ready to install, including an LRP quick-release lever mount and a 39 mm spacer for Picatinny or Weaver rails.
Its precise 2 MOA red dot provides fast target acquisition while retaining the accuracy needed for close- and medium-range engagements. Enhanced lenses with optimized reflective coatings improve dot definition and optical clarity.
LRP Mount and 39 mm Spacer Included
This version must not be confused with item number 200180, which is supplied without a mount. Item number 200198 includes both the LRP quick-release mount and a 39 mm spacer.
This configuration positions the optical axis at 39 mm above the top surface of the mounting rail. It is designed for platforms using a Picatinny or Weaver rail, including AR-15-style rifles and tactical platforms requiring a higher sight position.
2 MOA Dot and Night Vision Compatibility
The Micro T-2 features 12 brightness settings: four night-vision-device settings and eight daylight settings, including one extra-bright position. The 2 MOA red dot provides an excellent balance of speed and precision.
Compatible with night vision devices as well as Aimpoint 3x and 6x magnifiers, the Micro T-2 is operationally parallax-free: the visible dot remains parallel to the weapon bore even when the shooter’s eye position changes behind the optic.
Battery Life and Durability
Powered by one 3V CR2032 lithium battery, the Micro T-2 offers up to 50,000 hours, or approximately five years, of continuous operation at brightness setting 8. Its side-mounted battery compartment enables convenient replacement without removing the sight from the mount.
The semi-matte hard-anodized high-strength aluminum housing, reinforced turret protection, and submersibility to 25 m / 80 ft provide excellent resistance to shock, vibration, weather, and intensive use.
