SPR BDC Reticle — the heart of the product

The SPR (Special Purpose Reticle) is Holosun's signature reticle for rifle optics. It combines acquisition speed (65 MOA circle + center dot) and distance precision (BDC holdovers) — a compromise long reserved for LPVOs and prismatic sights.

1.5 MOA center dot: precise enough for 100 m shots, visible enough for fast acquisition.
1 MOA holdovers: bullet drop compensation points for 200, 300, 400 m and beyond — no more turret calculations.
65 MOA circle: fast engagement zone for CQB / dynamic shooting.
Ranging references: marks to estimate distance of a known-size target.

Factory calibrated for M193 5.56 3050 FPS = the standard for AR-15 rifles with 14.5"–20" barrels firing 55 gr FMJ. SPR will be accurate out of the box with the most common M193 ammunition — for other calibers/loads (M855, 77 gr TMK, etc.), holdovers remain usable as approximate references or can be re-calibrated at range.

Solar Failsafe — energy insurance

The integrated solar panel on top of the optic powers the reticle in sufficient light — even without a battery installed. The CR2032 battery takes over in dark environments or NVD use. Result: an optic virtually impossible to disable in intensive use, including forgotten battery replacements.
